Some API familiarity is required. You should understand what an API is, what endpoints are, and what a response looks like. You don't need to have shipped an API yourself. If you're completely new to APIs, enroll in API Fundamentals for Product Managers first.
No. The exercises use Claude Code, which handles the technical work. You'll prompt it, not program it.
That's exactly the assumption this workshop challenges. You'll watch live as an agent ignores your docs, skips your spec, and guesses from training data. Good docs help humans. Agents play by different rules.
You can. We'll run one during the workshop. Then we'll show you what it misses. Scoring tools are a starting point, not the answer.
This is a live, hands-on workshop and attendance is important to get the full experience. If something comes up, no worries. I'll transfer your enrollment to a future session at no extra cost.
The workshop will run for 4 hours maximum, including optional intro and Q&A.
No we will examine what good API design for agents looks like. And we'll point you in the right direction by giving you a Skill and API Standards file you can use. If you'd like to learn how to design and build an API from scratch with AI, consider taking the Build an API-First Product with AI workshop.
Different focus. API Product Mastery for Experienced PMs covers API strategy, lifecycle, design, and GTM across the full product journey. This workshop focuses on making your APIs work for AI agents. Course alumni will find new, agent-specific content here.
Many participants use L&D or professional development budgets. Maven provides expense templates to make the case.
